We started at Tiny Tots Academy in June 2019 with our twin boys who were 4 months old at the time. As first-time parents, we were both nervous and sad to send the boys to daycare and go back to work, but our mind sets quickly changed as we started to realize that we now have a “team” to help out with the boys! Heather has literally helped us so incredibly much when it comes to taking care of the twins! For example, she completely walked us through the steps to sleep train them and by 5-6 months they were sleeping 12+ hours a night with NO interruption. She also helped us realize that both the boys had tongue tie AND lip tie, something our pediatrician even overlooked. She noticed it was hard for them to drink their bottles and feedings were taking 45 min to an hour. She mentioned the idea to us, and we brought them to a pediatric dentist and sure enough they were both tongue and lip tied, we got them the procedure to correct the ties and within a few days, the boys were sucking their bottles down and much happier! She has always given us the best advice when it comes to handling teething, tummy aches, rashes etc. Her medical background gives her so much knowledge, tips and hacks that other people might not even think of. As parents, we completely trust her judgment when it comes to our kids! She really and truly has the twins’ best interest in mind with everything! I love getting pictures of them having fun with friends, being outside and it is the best when we pick them up with a craft they’ve done to take home and display! The twins are now almost a year and a half, and it makes me so happy at drop off in the morning when she opens the door and they get a huge smile on their faces, makes me feel good knowing they love her too!
We enrolled our twins in Tiny Tots Academy the beginning of April. These are our first kids and were born 2 months preemie, so like other parents we were a nervous wreck. But after meeting with Heather for a couple hours, we knew were making the right decision. Our babies have just turned 6 months as of Saturday and she has helped us get them on a strict schedule and are almost sleeping through the night. Every hurdle we come across we work together to figure out the best plan of action. Not to mention our babies absolutely love her. Her work has always been professional and her focus has always been on our children’s development and well being. We will recommend her to anyone else looking for in home daycare.
We enrolled Adalynn in tiny tots in July of this year and have loved every minute of it. We have always felt very informed and known our child has been taken care of especially during a pandemic. Heather has been instrumental in helping us figure out parenthood for us first time parents. She is always there to communicate something she sees during the day so that we are prepared when we get home. Also helping us figure out the milestones of our little girl whether it be switching bottles, helping with teething, sleep training and more. I cannot say enough good things about how it has been a blessing for us not only for our sanity to know our child is being cared for and loved but not having to problem solve alone. We intend to keep Adalynn enrolled until we will have to say our sad goodbyes and move into preschool. Looking forward to the years to come!
I can’t say enough great things about Tiny Tots Academy. We have been sending our son there since he was 6 weeks old. As a new mom sending your first child to daycare is never easy, but Heather made the transition comfortable and kept me up to date with feeding and changing updates on our app as well as lots of photos. As a toddler now he has lots of friends his age to play with and many different activities to keep him busy. They spend lots of time outside when weather is permitted and he seems to love that especially. The moment I drop him off in the morning he runs to the door and can’t wait to see Mrs. Heather and play. I can tell he is loved and cared for every moment I am away. We are always kept up to date on his health and well being through out the day as well as behavior and mood. I would recommend this daycare to anyone.
Our son has been attending Tiny Tots Academy for a couple years and we have had a terrific experience! When we first started interviewing daycares to start caring for our son, we were so nervous! You want the best for your child and we found it! Miss Heather has been more than we could have ever hoped for. They have a great family and they all pitch in to care and love every child that comes through their doors daily. Our son always enjoys the time he spends there! Tiny Tots has a balanced schedule where they play, dance and learn. They do many activities daily, such as reading, puzzles and talking about the weather. She has always kept us informed with any news or updates to her program. She stays in constant contact with us if our child has injured themselves or if our child is unwell, we are immediately informed. We would recommend tiny tots to anyone looking for childcare.
We have been going to Tiny Tots Academy since Hudson has been around 6 weeks old. (Now almost 3 years old) Mrs. Heather has been amazingly awesome with our son. He now knows he is going to Mrs. Heather’s, to the point of asking “I go to Mrs. Heather’s?” He is excited too show me his artwork, whenever I get home from work. I can’t wait until he can communicate more with his daily life at Tiny Tots. I recommend Tiny Tots Academy to any family that wants more one on one style attention and smaller childcare setting. Mrs. Heather has been a dream come true!
My son Reagan is a current student at Tiny Tots Academy. We love Mrs. Heather and frequently our son does not want to leave at pick up, always a great sign! The curriculum supports his language development and social skills. He has a structured day and thrives in his routine there. Any behavior concerns (think terrific two’s) have been addressed with us promptly and we work together to help resolve them. Mrs. Heather has been a tremendous advocate for potty training and he has responded well to her method. We have been very happy with our experience and highly recommend Tiny Tots Academy!
We are so thankful to have found Tiny Tots Academy! We love that it is small, intimate, and a true connection to our child. Our family feels confident knowing our daughter is in good care, having fun, and we appreciate the regular communication from staff. As a new mom that was nervous to send my daughter to daycare, I could not be more thankful for Heather and Tony Tots who have made my first day care experience a dream. Great experience as a mom, and my daughter comes home happy too!
